We’re Good CIC was established in September 2026. We’re building our foundations while developing programmes and events for our community.
Our Founder and Operational Director is currently working alone, so there’s plenty to get involved in, from research and planning to communications, administration and delivering activities.
Whether you have experience to share or want to develop new skills, there are two ways to get involved.
Have experience or expertise you’d like to contribute?
Take on a defined project (i.e. helping to plan or develop a programme or event, or supporting delivery on-the-day).
We’ll agree what you can contribute and the time needed.
Looking to gain experience or build your confidence?
Get involved in real projects, programmes or events, with practical support and opportunities to learn.
Our structured project volunteering offers a six-month personal development pathway.
We’re developing programmes for spring 2027, with opportunities to help research topics, create session content and resources, and plan delivery.
Volunteers supporting delivery will attend a compulsory induction and agreed sessions, which may take place on weekdays, evenings or weekends.

Volunteers can help with event research, planning and preparation, or support delivery on the day. Event volunteers will attend a compulsory induction, with activities potentially taking place on weekdays, evenings or weekends.
Our flagship intergenerational event brings people together through music from the 1950s, 60s and 70s, dancing, shared memories and good company, with older Lambeth residents at its heart.
What we need
You might recognise yourself in some of these descriptions:
These are examples, not requirements. You do not need professional care or befriending experience. What matters most is how you treat people.
What you’ll do
During the event:
Helping guests home
Limited transport home within Lambeth may be available by prior arrangement. We are considering guest departures at around 6.30pm and 8.30pm, subject to final transport plans.
If guest transport is arranged, some Befrienders may be asked to accompany allocated guests, assist with boarding and leaving the vehicle within agreed safe limits, and escort guests to their front doors. Specific duties, routes and finishing times will be confirmed in advance and follow our safeguarding and transport procedures.
Volunteer Befrienders will not administer medication, provide personal care, lift or move guests, enter their homes or replace their usual care support. Guests who need an essential carer or support person to attend safely will have those arrangements agreed in advance.
